He hadn't planned on telling Iwaizumi last night, he hasn't planned on telling Iwaizumi ever. He always just kind of assumed that Iwaizumi saw him as a kid or was dating Oikawa or whatever reason made more sense in his tiny, tiny brain that week.

But there's not much of a point in denying it when he's already said it, even if Iwaizumi didn't seem to believe him the night before.
