Oikawa + Kageyama — Good morning sunshine~

[Kageyama sleeps like he has no idea how it's supposed to be done. And really, Oikawa is throwing stones in glass houses to think so, but the fact that he's snoring ever so gently though his nose with his legs tangled in the sheets, one leg clean off the bed and his pillow half wedged under his back is ridiculous.

The fact that Oikawa thinks it's adorable is beside the point.

Oikawa yanks on the sheet to extract some of it from the mess Kageyama is entangled in, and pulls it over himself. One of these days, Kageyama is sure to realise that Oikawa gets up before him and brushes his teeth so that he always has fresh morning breath, but that penny hasn't dropped yet.

He allows himself a (small!) soft smile at the way Kageyama is even frowning in his sleep as he picks up his book to read until Kageyama wakes up.

This might be something he could call nice.]

[It kills him when Kageyama is sweet like this. Doing things like kissing his knuckles, taking initiative.

Oikawa moves so he's pressed against Kageyama, only putting a tiny bit of his weight on top of him this time. No squished boyfriends today.]

It's entirely possible that I love you, you know. [He says it with his eyes shut and face mostly pressed against Kageyama's shoulder. He's said he loves Kageyama before, but not often. It's not something that he does, but he thinks that Kageyama will always assume that he continues to love him so long as Oikawa doesn't tell him otherwise. Which is sensible, because Oikawa thinks that will (perhaps unfortunately) always be the case.]

[How could Tobio not worship Oikawa's hands? He has way too many fond memories and associations tied to them.]

I love you too.

[Tobio doesn't worry that Oikawa has stopped loving him, not anymore, and sometimes he wonders if Oikawa says it mostly to hear him say it back. Still, these reminders are nice, especially when they can spend time together like this.]

[Technically, he didn't say he loved him. He just said that it is entirely possible. But. Close enough.]

An awful lot of people would tell you that is inadvisable. [Mostly Hajime, who knows from personal experience.]

[Tobio has just finally learned to read between the lines and filter out Oikawa's bullshit.]

[It's a good thing they've already been together for a long time, or Tobio might have actually believed that.]

No, you're not.

Mm, no. I definitely am.

[He says this while reaching forward to bunch his fingers in Kageyama's shirt and pull him closer. He is most certainly breaking up with him.]

I don't think I believe you, you did just ask what you would do without me in your bed.

[Which he's getting back into, because it's much harder to resist Oikawa's touches than it is his words.]

Tobio-chan has become so cynical these days. [A statement which is as good as confirmation.]

But if we're not broken up, and you've brushed your teeth, why aren't you kissing me right now?

[settering]

[And he's looking at the person who has made him cynical, what a beautiful relationship.

Now comfortably back on the bed again, Tobio doesn't bother replying - since it would only give Oikawa an opportunity to keep talking - and leans over him to kiss him quiet instead.]

[Gosh, Kageyama isn't giving him the option to keep going with his favourite hobby! He does so love the sound of his own voice.

But not too far down his list of hobbies is kissing Kageyama, so he supposes this is acceptable, deepening the kiss and pulling Kageyama down over him, enjoying the clean, minty taste of his mouth.]

[Tobio puts his hands next to Oikawa's head so he can hold himself up just enough to not crush Oikawa.

Also this gives him more control over where his kisses are going and he uses this opportunity to angle his head so he can place some kisses along Oikawa's slightly scruffy jaw.]
